The harmer and the fool
lyrics
Far Enough Away
Written by Chris Jones, Ricky Taylor, Dean Harris, Tim Lucas & Varun Arthur
Make haste it’s urgent,
The last train is near,
We’re going further than before.
I’ve not got the answers but I know for sure,
We need to live before we go.
You can’t change, you won’t change.
Like moths who follow flames until you burn,
You won’t change a thing,
Wrestle back control, you’re not changed,
You can’t change a thing.
Lost between the lines.
You don’t change a fucking thing.
Provide some answers,
or we’ll fucking change you.
Fame, it is the crisis.
We are encouraging it all.
Bring out the straws,
Stack them on top of it.
With every straw we’re sure to fold.
You can’t change, you won’t change.
Like moths who follow flames until you burn,
You won’t change a thing,
Wrestle back control, you’re not changed,
You can’t change a thing.
Lost between the lines.
You don’t change a fucking thing.
Provide some answers,
or we’ll fucking change you.
The camel’s back breaks in two.
The final straw was just too much,
For his back to bear,
Lest we forget,
The weight he took was just too much.
The camel’s back breaks in two,
The final straw was just too much.

The Fear That Kept Me Quiet
Written by Chris Jones, Ricky Taylor, Dean Harris, Tim Lucas & Varun Arthur
Too many lives have been displaced,
The horror’s drawn all over your face.
Reaching in to take the hand that grasps the earth,
The urn begins to slip,
One day I’ll be back here.
The falls begin to take their toll,
I’m learning quick,
Although I wish you’d see me struggle in this hole.
My hands are tired from digging sand.
Around my ears a ticking clock, a rope, my fears are gathering steam.
A rush of blood to start my mind,
The colours run distracting what I see in front of me in here.
The odds stacked against us,
These rules, these bloody rules.
Let them return,
Let them be found.
Let them, return,
Let them be found.
The sun has changed and stopped the rot,
The earth beneath my feet begins to move,
I’m faster now,
I know my strength it comes from being beaten hard and not surrendering the urge to toil.
I’ve lost the fear that kept me quiet,
I’m recognising why I ran away from clouds that formed around my life.
I’m reaching peace,
I feel it’s just ahead and now I’m almost here,
I’m questioning if I am really here.
The odds have changed, but the sound remains the same,
Remember.
SOL
Written by Chris Jones, Ricky Taylor, Dean Harris, Tim Lucas, Varun Arthur & Griffith Jones
Please accept these apologies,
For the time that I failed to be the best,
That I wanted to be.
I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face,
Let alone the safety in a comfortable place,
Let alone the safety.
Imagine if you even knew the half of it, I’ve got it bad.
I’m not the man I used to be.
Just take some time,
And you’d realise that life just takes a piece of me.
I fight to feel my worth,
Takes a piece of me,
But I’ve got it bad, I feel the ache, I’ve got it bad now,
Takes a piece of me,
I face this all alone,
Takes a piece of me,
I’ve got it bad now.
Who knew,
Who knew,
Forgotten,
Who knew.
I’m not the man I used to be.
I’m just trying to get myself together.
I’m not the same,
But I never really changed.
I’m not the man I used to be.
It’s the hope that kills you faster,
But the sun will heal your skin,
To move would keep you warm,
But you’ll be discovered.
There’s no going back,
The life I knew has gone,
Yeah, forget it,
My youth is in the past,
There’s no going back,
I know the sun will someday set,
For the last time.
There’s no going back,
The life I knew has gone,
Yeah, forget it,
My youth is in the past,
There’s no going back,
Just take some time and you’ll realise that life just takes a piece of me.
I fight to feel my worth,
Give some peace to me,
But I’ve got it bad, I feel the ache, I’ve got it bad now.
Give some peace to me,
It makes me feel alone,
Give some peace to me,
I’ve got it bad now.
I know that hope will be what kills me off I know,
I hope you know that I always did all that I could.
Give some peace to me.
I’m not the man I used to be,
I’m just trying to get myself back together.

I am the anarchist, the harmer and the fool.
You open up the door, but you don’t know what the hell you’re letting in.
Sometimes I just can’t stand to be around,
So I guess I’ll just pack my skin and leave.
Sometimes I just can’t stand to be around,
So I guessI’ll just pack my skin and leave.
Sometimes it feels like one is a crowd,
So I guess I’ll stay home,
With me and my disease.
I am the anarchist, the harmer and the fool.
You break, you sell your promises,
You’ve got it all
You’ve got it all wrong.
It’s always me versus me,
It’s always me versus.
You really know your heart,
You know it’s all so wrong.
Sometimes it feels like one is a crowd,
But it still feels, such a lonely place,
Just me and my disease.
I am the anarchist, the harmer and the fool.
You know your names don’t count at all,
God, you’ve got it all wrong.
It’s always me versus me,
It’s always me versus.
You really have no problems yet.
Oh no,
No you’ve gone and made me reach back,
But back to where I came from.
Every time I look in the mirror,
I see reflections of my former self.
You said you’re untouchable,
(Walk in these shoes)
You said you’re untouchable,
(Suffer me)
You said you’re in touchable,
(Walk in these shoes)
You said you’re untouchable.
You might just end up,
A smile.
You might just end up,
A smile at the end of a noose.
I am the anarchist, the harmer and the fool.
The process of burning
Written by Chris Jones, Ricky Taylor, Dean Harris, Tim Lucas, Varun Arthur & Griffith Jones
Goodbye
I’m so restless,
Yet so paralysed,
As I try to sleep when I close my eyes.
The fear at first is crippling my heart.
The guilt,
The regret,
These thoughts inside my head,
Time after time,
Night after night,
Sometimes just breathing feels like a fight.
So the pain that you feel through your eyes.
Never say goodbye, it’ll stay with you forever.
Take care now.
Never say goodbye, it’ll stay with you forever.
Firebreather,
Clean me with your breath.
Lead me from this place.
Teach me what to expect.
Old light, burn me.
I’m so restless,
Yet so paralysed,
As I try to sleep when I close my eyes.
The fear at first is crippling my heart.
The guilt,
The regret,
These thoughts inside my head,
Time after time,
Night after night,
Sometimes just breathing feels like a fight.
So the pain that you feel through your eyes.
Never say goodbye, it’ll stay with you forever.
Take care now.
Never say goodbye, it’ll stay with you forever.
Firebreather,
Clean me with your breath.
Lead me from this place.
Teach me what to expect.
Firebreather,
You say goodbye.
Old light, burn me.
Can’t you see they cover up their eyes.
Jump or take a leap of faith.
Either way I’m falling,
Fighting to escape.
Firebreather.
Clean me with your breath.
Lead me from this place.
Teach me what to expect.
Old light, burn me.
